I have been beyond fortunate.
Following a nominally failed Kickstarter campaign, many challenging and wonderful things began happening around and for me. I wrote about the whole progression from early versions of this work to the present in this article.
The details are not needed here. What is relevant is that circumstances are such that the web book version of Design Sovereignty will be made free to all for as long as I sensibly can keep it that way — potentially for all the remaining days of the internet.
And, here it is. Kind of.
Precious little of what has been written is actually here right now. There’s another version that is being put in front of the advanced readers and going through edits. For now, this is basically an exhaustive teaser.
The Project Road Map
- Another Kickstarter campaign is in order. There were a bunch of cool rewards that people showed a good deal of interest in. So, I’ll be running another Kickstarter campaign sometime here in 2024.
- Some Rounds with the Advanced Readers I’ve got a great collection of advanced readers. And, they’re going to have a bunch of time with the book before the full copy gets added here.
- Release Sequence The physical book will still be coming out ahead of the completion of the web book. That’s just a small way of saying “thank you” to the folks who do support the project through purchasing the physical book.
- Supporting Those Looking to Put the Theory into Practice I am separating the web book offering from the discussion forum and community of practice — at least the one I’ll be hosting. That community will be launching once the book is finished and physically published. So, there’s a separate online community in the works.
- Three More Books — in this series Maybe I’ve bitten off more than I can chew, but there are four books in this series which have already been started. The second book is on conflict and violence. That’s followed by one on economics and then one on religion, metaphysics, and theology. I actually wrote the book on economics first, book two is pretty far along but a little scattered, and I’ve been working on the one about religion a lot recently. They may all come out in pretty rapid succession once the first one is in the world.

Without further delay, check out the Table of Contents.
Table of ContentsI wish you all of the blessings and insights you are willing to become prepared to receive. The adventure of stepping into sovereignty alone, with good company, and in community, is the very dance of the universe itself. It is a painful dance. And it is worth it.
